MM2 Halloween 2026: Release Date, Leaks, New Godlies & Values
Murder Mystery 2: MM2 Halloween 2026 Update!
The MM2 Halloween 2026 update is the biggest event of the year in Murder Mystery 2. Last October it pulled in over 600,000 players at once, the highest the game has ever seen.
This guide covers everything about the 2026 event: the expected release date, the five-letter hint, what the leaks show, what new godlies to expect, and what every Halloween item is worth right now.
MM2 Halloween 2026 Release Date
The MM2 Halloween 2026 update has not been announced yet. But the event has started in the same week of October for four years in a row.
Year | Start date | Theme |
|---|---|---|
2022 | October 16 | Zombies vs Survivors |
2023 | October 17 | Pumpkins |
2024 | October 16 | Vampire Hunt |
2025 | October 18 | Aliens |
2026 | Expected Oct 16 to 22 | Not Revealed (Maybe Clown) |
Based on this pattern, the most likely release window is October 16 to October 22, 2026.
The MM2 Halloween 2026 Five-Letter Hint
The biggest clue so far is a five-letter word teased for this year's event. Players have been trying to crack it ever since.
Word | Letters | What it could mean |
|---|---|---|
Witch | 5 | Potions, curses, magic weapons |
Ghost | 5 | Haunted maps, see-through weapons |
Clown | 5 | Carnival horror, jester godlies |
Mummy | 5 | Tombs, bandages, ancient curses |
Skull | 5 | Bone-themed weapons and maps |
Our pick is Witch. It fits the hint and matches the lobby clip going around TikTok.
MM2 Halloween 2026 Leaks
The witch lobby clip
A clip showing a witch-themed lobby with acid rain and a transformation cutscene went viral on TikTok. It has been reported as fake, but a witch theme is still possible because of the five-letter hint.
Test server activity
Nikilis was spotted updating the MM2 test server for the first time in over a month. That happened right before past Halloween updates, so the release is likely close.
What to Expect in the MM2 Halloween 2026 Update
Every Halloween event since 2023 has used the same core setup. Here's what the 2026 update will most likely include.
1. Candies Replace Coins
During the event, candies spawn on every map instead of coins. You collect them in rounds and spend them in the event shop. 100 candies can be swapped for 100 coins.
2. Halloween Battle Pass
The 2025 pass had 25 tiers. Tier 1 was free and every other tier cost 800 candies. That's up from 300 candies per tier in 2023. The final reward, the Raygun, cost another 90,000 candies and could roll as a Chroma.
3. Halloween Box
The event box costs 800 candies or one key from the pass. In 2025 it held the Alienbeam godly knife at a 0.2% chance, plus an even rarer Chroma Alienbeam.
2025 Halloween Box rarity | Chance |
|---|---|
Common | 70% |
Uncommon | 15% |
Rare | 10% |
Legendary | 5% |
Godly (Alienbeam) | 0.2% |
4. Robux Bundle
Each year there's a paid bundle with two godlies and an exclusive effect. The 2025 Xenotech Bundle (Xenoknife, Xenoshot and the Xeno effect) cost 3,399 Robux, or 1,699 Robux per weapon.
5. New Maps and Lobby
2025 added the Spaceship map and a UFO lobby, and brought back Manor, Farmhouse, Barn, Mineshaft and Vampire's Castle. Expect a new themed lobby and at least one new map in 2026.

Why the Raygun and Alienbeam are worth the most
The Raygun cost over 199,000 candies in total, counting the full pass plus the 90,000 for the gun itself. The Alienbeam had a 0.2% box chance. Items that are hard to get keep their value.
Bundle items like the Xenoknife and Xenoshot are cheaper because anyone with Robux could buy them.
MM2 Halloween 2026 Price Predictions
Here's what the new 2026 items are likely to be worth, based on how 2025 items moved.
New 2026 item | Launch week | After the event |
|---|---|---|
Battle pass godly | $80+ | $40 to $70 |
Halloween box godly | $80+ | $40 to $70 |
Chroma godlies | $500+ | $300 to $700 |
Bundle godlies | $20 to $25 | $10 to $15 |
Old Halloween godlies also go up before every event, because new players want the classics. If you're selling, list before the update. If you're buying, buy right after the event ends.
